  what about giving dubs a checklist of what makes a cult when they call ?

  if you had some leaflets printed out and when a dub knocked on your door you could pretend you are doing research into religions and cults ,and you are searching for truth but want to be carefull not to get involved with a cult , give them a leaflet and ask them to check whether their religion fits any of the categorys , then watch them either outright lie to you or watch them look more horrified each one they read , maybe you could try it on your family thats in too .

  The last paragraph on page 480 of this August 1,1962 Watchtower states--"To get an objective view of the matter,in exploring questions such as these it is best to use the nonsectarian and nonreligious Hebrew-English and Greek-English dictionaries,instead of those that have been produced by some religious denomination". How is this to be reconciled with the question box in the September 2007 Kingdom Ministry? Have they received "new light" once again? It seems that all their "new light" is so bright that it has completely blinded them!

  I'm a Pioneer Married To a Wonderful Brother Reaching Out to be an MS...

  and petrified... i just recently became a pioneer and always had nagging questions in the back of my mind.

  so, i decided that when i have get a study i would research all the questions as i go along so as to prove everything in the truth... i got 4 studies in about 2 months.

  all was fine, until i reached i think chapter 6 in the bible teach book about the resurrection.

  Bible Study Student With A Ton of Questions

  i am both new to this forum and new to the jehovah's witness organization.

  i am currently about half way through the 'what does the bible really teach?

  " and have been attending both sunday services and ministerial school for 3 months.. my biggest problem is that, being a researcher by nature, "verifying that all things are true," i have also been researching the organization which has stumbled me greatly.

  Hello! ADDAGIRL welcome to the board. Glad you are picking up that something is not right in the Watchtower. It shows that you are able to think for yourself. For us former Jehovah's Witnesses a person like you can be so helpful in exposing this dangerous cult to active Jehovah's Witnesses. Active Witnesses will not listen to anyone who has left the organization and is considered an apostate of the Watchtower. Like in many ways when you see one flaw, this one flaw leads to many more. "A hundred years and a thousand men" have produced the cruelist hoax in American religion and they are hiding behind a curtain that when examined exposes all the falsehood.   Congratulations Blondie! You're are a real trooper standing tall and helping so many people coming to this site with your wealth of Watchtower information. Lots of work goes into scanning and posting these older publications and we're sure that all on this board appreciate it. Your comments are reasonable and sensible and show that it is obvious that you are staying with the "business at hand" exposing the Watchtower org. for who they really are. Keep up the good work. Your commitment in exposing the Watchtower org. has been a source of encouragement in helping us with our commitment of developing the website www.sixscreensofthewatchtower.com Collectively all of us on this board can continue to get people out of the Watchtower and stop others from getting in.

  I'm not taking this crap from no one fooled by the WT

  so, as many of you know, i wrote a letter three months ago and told my family the goods about this cult... i think i was kind enough yet firm enought to get my point across-let's hope so as i'm not exactly ernest hemmingway when it comes to writing.

  here's the best part to come of it.

  not one of my letters was ever given to the elders; apparently i'm not going to be disfellowshipped for apostacy-which honestly i could give a big rat's ass less about that one, and best of all, the letter has made it even to people that i didn't even send it to which means it's being passed around.
